CIA Rap

This came out of the first time I was provoked to speak at a rally.  We were outside the US embassy in Canberra protesting the bombing of Libya in April 1986 when the Canberra Peace group walked up the hill carrying a banner saying ‘STOP IT BOTH OF YOU’ and saying we should go to the Libyan embassy.  After I spoke, the banner was taken down and everyone stayed where we were.

My speech was recorded for the Fightback show (1986, May 25), and I later wrote this rap.
