Pam Reynolds, executive member of the ACT BLF. Picketing now effectively illegal in the ACT. Two arrests eg for giving a leaflet to a truck driver last Monday. Bullshit in Canberra Times about the BLF allegedly paying $150 a day to heavies, an extra $50 for bashing a cop. Threats of arrest just for stopping on a footpath. ACTU collusion in smashing of the BLF. Three BLF members occupy a crane in Melbourne, cops use nerve gas on them to cause temporary blindness or unconsciousness. SEQEB tactics coming to Canberra and Melbourne.

Continuation of interview with Pam Reynolds. BLF members who signed up to the BWIU find no service, labourers kept in separate meetings to carpenters. BLF members who have signed over to BWIU very welcome at BLF meetings, a few more coming in each time. Pickets continue to keep visibility up. Stalls in mall with T-shirts, leaflets.
